SMS Central will not limit how you can use SMS. We know every business is different with unique ideas and individual processes.

So we won’t try to limit you to using our Web SMS platform, or our Email to SMS capabilities. Instead, we’ll provide you with an open Application Programming Interface (API) to let you send SMS messages through our service, however you like!

This means, with a bit of integration, you can use your existing software and have messages sent to your customers, all from within the same application!

SMS Central has a number of already integrated applications used by many of our customers to deliver messages via our API. These include CRMs, clinic/medical-practice management software, rostering software and many more.

Hold on, what’s an SMS API?

The SMS Central SMS Application Programming Interface, affectionately referred to as an API (ay-pee-eye) is a way that you can use our SMS gateway to send and receive SMS messages by sending HTTP web requests to our web service.

It means you can develop your own applications, with their own purposes and when it comes to delivering SMS messages from within those applications, all you do is let our web service know and we’ll take care of delivery of the message to the handset through our multiple carrier connections.

Using our API is easy and getting started is even easier! To get started, just give us a call on 1300 00 7672 and we’ll set up your account and provide you with the username and password you’ll need to start sending messages through SMS Central’s gateways.
